Angioid Streaks: Report of A Case
Article Main Content
Angioid streaks are rare lesions of the fundus, which are often associated with general pathologies. These are stripes that are visible at the fundus, dark in appearance, and that diverge from the papilla. They are due to anomalies of the elastic fibers in which there is a deposit of calcium. Angioid streaks are described in many pathologies: Paget's disease; Sickle cell disease and Marfan's syndrome. There is no treatment for angioid streaks. We report the case of a patient presenting with angiod streaks on the fundus in the context of marfan’s syndrome.
